Eastwood announced that Sandera died aged 61 in a statement he released on the night of July 18, 2024. The director wrote, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.”

A Warner Bros. spokesperson shared with a news outlet that no further information would be provided about Sandera’s death. Over the years, Eastwood and Sandera kept their romance low-key.

In 2014, when news broke that they were together, the couple was seen shopping at a Los Angeles Whole Foods. A source revealed in 2014 that Sandera had already moved in with Eastwood months ago.

The insider added that Clint Eastwood’s girlfriend was working as a hostess at his Mission Ranch Hotel in Carmel, California when the pair met. The two were reportedly happy and enjoying their relationship.

The actor is a familiar figure at his ranch. He said the first time he saw the place, he thought it was terrific. He found it to be an area he would like to call home, so the successful film star bought the ranch, reopened it, and restored it.
